DOCKERS fans were treated to one last training session this morning before the team went into lockdown in preparation for Friday night’s game against Geelong.

Despite the noticeable absence of ruckman Aaron Sandilands, fans remained optimistic that their team would beat the reigning premiers.

Melissa Higham, who took her two-year old William to the training session, said she was 'very, very proud' of Fremantle's effort against Hawthorn and would hold a party in their honour on Friday night.

“If they win then we’ll go over (to Melbourne) the next week,” she said.

Youngster Jacob Lawrence, who has been a member for the last seven years and sat behind the goals at Saturday's match against Hawthorn,  said the Fremantle side was 'a good chance' to win against the Cats.

Fans said Sandilands was simply 'being rested' and would play on the weekend, even if it was just to stand in the forward line for the team.
