IT will still be another five months before Ellenbrook residents have their own tavern, with construction at The Brook running slightly behind schedule.

Owner David Strom said construction was about 60 per cent completed, and that the fitout of the new premise would also take up a significant amount of time.

“At this stage, we hope to open mid to late November,” he said.

“Feedback from the public in Ellenbrook has been very positive and we are looking forward to opening a quality food and beverage facility for locals.”

He said the tavern anticipated employing about 70 staff.

Construction began on The Brook in late October.

More good drinking water going to be wasted on more booze. Remember; One nip may be good for your Heart and Health, but the rest is going about it's prime objective to Pickle you Eyeballs, Brain, Liver and Kidneys.
